What are Audiology Services?

Services that audiologists provide include:

  • hearing assessment of infants, children and adults, including assessment required for the purposes of medical management;

  • rehabilitation services including prescription and fitting of hearing aids, cochlear implants and other prosthetic hearing devices;

  • counselling relating to hearing, hearing impairment and tinnitus;

  • hearing conservation programs;

  • community hearing awareness education programs.
