In order to facilitate access to educational opportunities for all members, regardless of location, hours of practice, or workload it is proposed that appropriate educational events be videotaped, to be owned by the Audiological Society of Australia Inc., and subsequently added to the resource library of the Society for borrowing by its members at the prescribed rate.

Given the limited financial and technical resources of the Society commercial assistance may be engaged in the implementation of this initiative in accordance with the following guidelines:

  1. Planning of educational programs and timetabling will be the responsibility and at the discretion of the Educational Sub-Committee of the Audiological Society of Australia Inc. in each State

  2. Subject matter and formulation of the educational material presented will remain the responsibility of the Audiological Society of Australia Inc.;

  3. Funding sought and obtained will be acknowledged by appropriate "commercial badging" on the packaging of the material;

  4. On the title page of any material produced, acknowledgement will be made of the commercial contribution to the project;

  5. Advertising of the educational event and its ensuing video or written material will acknowledge the contribution of the commercial "partner";
